AGRA’s Strategy Session

I was delighted to have had the opportunity to moderate the AGRA ​(Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa) 3-day full-day strategy ​training alongside Duncan Juma.
In addition to the serious discussions and strategic planning sessions, ​I infused an element of fun and engagement into the training. To ​break the ice and create a positive and dynamic atmosphere, I ​incorporated interactive and enjoyable activities such as Quizizz and ​other engaging icebreakers. These activities not only served as ​energizing breaks but also contributed to building a sense of ​camaraderie among participants, fostering a conducive environment ​for collaborative thinking and creative problem-solving. I thoroughly ​enjoyed guiding the participants through a productive and enjoyable ​training experience that aligned with AGRA's mission and objectives.

‘East Africa Community Youth Fellowship’ Training
(Arusha, Tanzania - October 2023)
I had the privilege of facilitating the East Africa Youth Fellowship's five-day training program for young leaders in business and governance from an array of countries, including Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan.
In addition to these discussions, I had the honor of sharing insights on personal branding and the power of utilizing social media as a tool for influence and networking. It was gratifying to see the participants engage with these concepts and begin to envision the ways they could leverage their personal brands and digital presence to advocate for change, connect with like-minded individuals, and make a lasting impact. The energy and commitment displayed by these young leaders left a lasting impression on me, and I have no doubt that they will play a significant role in shaping the future of East Africa.

I had the wonderful opportunity to moderate the Living Goods 2-day ​full-day strategy training, an organization committed to saving lives at ​scale by supporting digitally-empowered community health workers. ​It was a privilege to guide discussions and activities aimed at ​enhancing their strategies, ultimately contributing to the ​organization's overarching goal of improving healthcare accessibility ​and quality in communities alongside Duncan Juma.
Recognizing the importance of fostering a collaborative and engaging ​atmosphere, I integrated enjoyable icebreakers like Quizizz and other ​interactive activities. I was delighted to witness the participants' active ​engagement, creating a positive environment for sharing ideas and ​insights. The Comms Avenue Networking Event

I had an absolute blast moderating The Comms Avenue's Hangout, and it was an event that left me thoroughly inspired. The founders, Adedoyin Jaiyesimi and Sharon-Ann Adaigbe, who hail from Nigeria, brought a wealth of insights that truly resonated with me. Their deep understanding of communication and marketing was not only impressive but also incredibly valuable.
The event was made even more exceptional by the fantastic presentation delivered by Nelisa Ngqulana, whose knowledge and expertise in the field were evident. What truly made the day special, though, was the opportunity to network with outstanding professionals in the communication industry. Their contributions and insights were like a cherry on top of an already fantastic day, and I left with a renewed passion for my work.

‘Grow your Sales 10X’ Event

Planning and facilitating the 'Grow Yourself 10 Times' event hosted by Kingdom Woman West ShePreneur on September 2nd, 2023 from 12-5pm EAT at the Emory Hotel was an absolute delight. The event drew in a remarkable crowd of more than 150 individuals eager to embark on their personal growth journeys. It was truly a day filled with inspiration, empowerment, and transformation.
As a facilitator, I was deeply moved by the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants. Their active engagement and thirst for knowledge created an electric atmosphere, making it evident that this event had a profound impact on everyone present. Witnessing individuals from diverse backgrounds come together to invest in their personal and professional development was a testament to the power of community and shared aspirations. It was an honor to play a role in such a meaningful gathering, and I look forward to more opportunities to inspire and empower others on their growth journeys in the future.

ESG and Climate-smart Financing Seminar

I had the pleasure of moderating the three-day 'Environmental, Social and Governance and Climate-Smart Financing Training' organized by Lattice. Held from the 12th - 13th of July 2023, with an enriching field tour of a Green Project on the 28th of June, this seminar took place at the Emory Hotel in Nairobi, running from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EAT each day.
Throughout the seminar, I facilitated engaging dialogues, encouraged knowledge sharing, and ensured that all participants had the opportunity to contribute their insights. My role as the moderator was instrumental in creating an interactive and informative atmosphere. Additionally, the field tour of a Green Project on the 28th of June 2023 provided a hands-on experience, allowing participants to witness sustainability initiatives in action.

Facilitating 'The Making of a Chosen Vessel' event hosted by Kingdom Woman West SheSpiritual on July 22nd, 2023, was a great privilege. Held from 2-5:30 pm EAT at the Movenpick Hotel, the event was a transformative experience for all involved. The atmosphere was charged with a palpable sense of purpose and a collective eagerness for spiritual growth and enlightenment.
As a facilitator, it was deeply fulfilling to witness the depth of engagement and commitment from the participants. Their hunger for spiritual understanding and connection was evident in every interaction, reaffirming the significance of events like these in nurturing one's faith journey. I am grateful to have been a part of this profound gathering and eagerly anticipate more opportunities to guide and inspire others on their spiritual paths.

I found immense satisfaction in both planning and moderating the "Collaborative Leadership: Building Relationships of Influence" seminar, which took place on the 19th May 2023 from 8 am - 5 pm EAT. This seminar was a remarkable gathering of distinguished senior business leaders hailing from Kenya, Uganda, and Burundi. It provided a unique platform for these esteemed leaders to engage in profound discussions and glean valuable insights into the realm of collaborative leadership practices.
It was further enriched by the presence of an esteemed facilitator, Davide Zaccariello, a globally recognized specialist in Leadership Development and Executive Communication from Italy. It was an honor to facilitate an event that provided such a platform for transformative learning and leadership growth.

Best Fish Farmers Awards Event
(Kisumu, Kenya - March 2023)
I enjoyed organizing, planning, and moderating the Best Fish Farmers Competition and the Awards Event held at Sarova Hotel in Kisumu. Organized by Lattice in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the event was a prestigious gathering that celebrated the achievements of fish farmers in the region.
The event was a grand success, with 133 people attending physically and an impressive online audience of 261 participants. Being the Master of Ceremonies, I had the privilege of engaging both the in-person and virtual attendees, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all. It was a gratifying opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of fish farmers while creating a memorable event that resonated with the audience.

FeedTechKenya
Round-table Discussions
(Nairobi, Kenya - March 2023)
Planning and moderating the FeedTechKenya round table discussions on the 29th March 2023 at Sarova Stanley Hotel from 12pm - 6pm EAT was a truly enriching experience. FeedTechKenya is a three-year partnership between leading Dutch and Kenyan stakeholders deeply involved in animal feed value chains.
It was a privilege to bring together senior key players in the industry, including Lattice, Larive International, Tunga Nutrition (U) Ltd - Trouw Nutrition East Africa, Skretting, Nutreco, InsectiPro, Kenya Bureau of Standards, Feed Millers Association, Kenchic Limited, Unga Group Ltd, Ottevanger Milling Engineers, AERES, as well as the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. From the deliberations, it was clear that through collaborative efforts, by sharing knowledge, insights, and collective expertise, we can forge a path towards innovation and sustainable growth within Kenya's animal feed industry.

Samaki Poa Launch
(Kampala, Uganda - October 2022)
Planning and facilitating the Samaki Poa launch in Kampala was an absolute pleasure. Samaki Poa, which translates to 'cool' or 'awesome' fish in Swahili, represents a remarkable intercontinental collaboration between five stakeholders hailing from both East Africa and Europe, in partnership with the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). This initiative holds great promise for revolutionizing the aquaculture sector in East Africa.
Hosted by Lattice on October 19th, 2022, from 12-5 pm EAT, the launch was a testament to the dedication and expertise of all involved parties. These experts, driven by a shared vision, have come together to bridge the knowledge productivity gap within the aquaculture value chain. Their collective efforts hold the potential to bring about significant positive change in the industry, benefitting communities and economies in East Africa. It was truly an honor to be a part of this impactful event.

Lattice/IDH Aqua Day
(Kisumu, Kenya - August 2022)
I had the privilege of planning and hosting the Lattice/IDH Aqua Day, ​a momentous occasion celebrating a remarkable two-year ecosystem-​based project deemed "Integrated Approach to Enhancing Tilapia ​Farmer Productivity and Market Linkages" designed by Lattice in ​partnership with the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH). The program ​sought to uplift the livelihoods of smallholder fish farmers by ​providing them with comprehensive support in skill development, ​access to quality inputs, viable financing options, and crucial market ​access.
More than 140 key stakeholders, media representatives, government ​officials, and small holder farmers graced the event. It was truly ​heartening to witness the dedication and collaborative spirit of ​everyone involved, underlining the potential for transformative ​change in the lives of these farmers and the aquaculture industry as a ​whole.

Compelled Youth Camp
(Kampala, Uganda - September 2022)
I had the pleasure of moderating the Compelled Camp in Uganda, an ​annual Christian gathering that brings together youths for a deeply ​enriching spiritual experience from September 28th to October 1st, ​2022. It was a journey filled with exhilaration, witnessing the ​convergence of fervent young hearts united in their quest for spiritual ​nourishment and growth. As the moderator, I had the privilege of ​guiding the camp's activities and fostering meaningful interactions.
More than 150 youths hailing from various corners of Africa including ​Kenya, Uganda, Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and ​Tanzania were in attendance. The diversity of backgrounds and ​cultures represented was a testament to the universality of faith and ​the power it has to bring people together. The energy and ​enthusiasm radiated by each participant was truly inspiring, making ​the event an unforgettable and transformative experience for all ​involved.

I take great joy in moderating the Sunday services at Ruach West Assembly, a responsibility I've held with enthusiasm since May 2021 up to the present day. Being a part of these services has been a deeply rewarding experience, allowing me to contribute to the spiritual nourishment and growth of our congregation.
One of the most captivating aspects of this role is moderating the cherished 'Hey Fam' segment. This special segment serves as a vital thread that weaves our congregation together, fostering connections and meaningful interactions among members. It's a highlight of every service, providing an opportunity for congregants to share, support, and uplift one another. Together, we cultivate an environment where each member feels not only welcomed, but valued, heard, and embraced. This collective effort makes every service a truly extraordinary experience of unity and spiritual advancement.

It was a true privilege to stand in the midst of such an extraordinary gathering of strong, resilient, and empowered women. The event radiated a palpable sense of unity, purpose, and jubilation, reflecting the incredible journeys and contributions of these remarkable individuals.
To witness their stories, achievements, and unwavering faith was a humbling experience. Each woman in attendance brought her own unique strength and perspective, collectively painting a vibrant tapestry of inspiration. The event was graced by the presence of more than 120 ladies, each one a testament to the profound impact of Kingdom Woman West. It was a celebration of both the ministry's accomplishments and the bright future ahead, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to be a part of it.

Planning and hosting the launch of the first Aquaculture Academy in Kenya was an absolute pleasure. This milestone event took place on May 7th, 2021, from 12-5pm EAT, signifying a significant step forward for the aquaculture sector in East Africa. Founded by the visionary partners of the FoodTechAfrica consortium, the Aquaculture Academy (AA) addresses a critical need for practical skills in the industry.
The Aquaculture Academy is designed to fill this gap by training and cultivating 'aquapreneurs' capable of operating thriving and sustainable businesses. Beyond individual success, the academy aims to inspire and encourage others to join the ranks of fish farming, ultimately driving economic prosperity across the entire sector. The AA stands as the premier institution for aquaculture education, serving as a beacon for stakeholders throughout the value chain in the region. AA was launching 2 branches in Machakos and Homabay.
